Have you ever been to Disneyland?

Step Greeting(2minutes)

     Greet the class as usual..

Step New words(10 minutes)

     Show some pictures on the screen and teach the Ss some new words.

Read the words and ask students to repeat.

     T: Boys and girls, is this place beautiful? Do you want to go there?

     Ss:…

     T: Two good friends live in the beautiful place. Do you know who are they?

     Ss: Mickey Mouse! 唐老鸭!

     T: You are clever! How to say 唐老鸭?Please read after me. Donald Duck!(twice)

     Ss: …

     T: Good! Where do they live?

     Ss: 迪士尼乐园!

     TYes, they live in Disneyland! Repeat: Disneyland!

     Ss:…

     T: Do you know any other characters in Disneyland? Please look at the pictures, do you

know who they are?

     Ss:…

     T: You’ve seen the cute girl before, she is Snow White. Look at the lovely bear, What’s

his name?

     Ss:…

     T: He’s Winnie. How about these seven friends?

     Ss: 七个小矮人!

     T: Right! They’re Seven Dwarfs! And this funny dog is Pluto. I love these cartoon

 characters. How about you?

T: What can we do in Disneyland?( Showing some pictures.)

Ss:..

T: Yes, we can … enjoy the roller coaster. Roller coaster, repeat.

Ss:…

T: What else?

Ss:…

T: And we can take photos with Disney characters, watch Disney movies. What are these?

They look really delicious!

Ss: We can have delicious cakes!

T: It’s really wonderful! And we can have more activities there.(Showing more pictures.)

  In Disneyland ,there is a boat. (point to the picture) Is it small or huge?

Ss: Huge!

T: We call this huge boat cruise. Cruise, repeat twice!

Ss:…

T: What’s this?(point to the board) How to say“甲板”?Board, repeat.

Ss:..

T: Here is a phrase: on board, it means : on the boat.

So we can also play on the Disney cruise. We can also…(point to the picture)

S: Shopping/ Buy gifts!

T: Let’s read the new words together!

Step Lead-in (2 minutes)

     This activity provides reading practice using the target language.

     Showing a picture of Disneyland on the screen.

     T: Look at the picture. Where is this place?

     Ss: ….

     T: OK. In Disneyland, there are many famous sights. Do you know what they are?

     Ss:….

     T: Have you ever been to Disneyland?

     Ss: No, we haven’t.

Step Pre-reading: Listening (7minutes)

     This activity provides listening practice.

T: There is a new Disneyland in Hong Kong. I think you’ll have many interesting things to do if you go there one day. Now please listen to the tape and fill in the blanks with the missing words.

T: After listening, can you tell me : True or false?(Point to the T/F sentences )

  The 1st sentence….

Step V While reading(5minutes)

1.       Read and answer.

T: Boys and girls ,let’s read this passage together and then answer 3 questions.

S:….(3 minutes)

T: Can you get the answers? Let me see..

2.Key points.(3minutes)

     It has all the normal attractions that you can find…

     It means that you can find…

Step VII Oral practice(10minutes)

   T: If you have a chance to go to Disneyland, what will you do there? Ask and answer with

your partner like this: (Showing a dialogue model on the screen.)

Step VII  Homework

T: You can choose A or B to finish:

  A: Describe an interesting place you’ve ever visit.

  B: Copy and translate the passage we’ve learned today.

一、对教材深入研究,教法新颖。

二、利用色彩鲜艳的图片引入单词教学,方法独特,令学生耳目一新,课堂气氛比较活跃。

三、师生互动,效果较好。

四、形式多样,强调听说读写。

五、内容丰富,容量大。

课后自评

  每次上优质课都是个“痛苦”的历程,从孕育构思到漫天搜寻资料制作课件,写教案,找师傅、前辈听取意见,不断修改。愈临近优质课日期愈紧张:给学生预习,打打强心针。找陈老师制作wav录音, 熟悉一下阶梯教室多媒体的使用

终于到了“布露“那一天了:先在另一个班上一次这节课,效果不甚好,赶快总结:1班基础差些,讲英文太多了学生有点跟不上。一节课没讲完内容,是由于学生跟不上而有所拖延吗?要不要cut掉一点呢?最后还是不改了,免得自乱阵脚。

课堂内容见实录。

总的来说这节课落到了实处,我的目标就是学生能教透彻地理解好课文,从学生的课堂反应来说基本达到目标。不足之处:

1.课堂设计

内容满满当当的,学生没有吸收消化时间。生词教学应该放在前一节课。

阅读面窄了点,仅仅局限于课文。但要拓展也难把握,毕竟学生英语水平有限, 40分钟要拿下一篇阅读还要拓展,有些贪心了。

阅读后总结回顾时,应再增加1分钟重点词组配套练习。

2.实际操作

教生词部分过于冗长,导致后面没时间做对话练习。

课堂气氛不够活跃。如果cut掉教生词部分,增加一个小活动效果可能好些。

没有板书。用惯多媒体了,板书早已被忽略。所有的点,面都在课件里了,暂时想不到要写什么板书。或许大标题也该有个吧?

上完优质课,有很多收获和感慨。总的来说,虽然过程痛苦,但确实得到锻炼了。对比同事的课,也发现了很多不足。在以后的教学路上,我还要多思考,多参照,多请教前辈,不断提高教学水平。
